FIRE + ICE Series
 
My inspiration for this series came from a cold Wisconsin winter, which also inspired me to move! I painted Less than Zero using layers of cool metallic colors, with distinct vertical brush strokes that represent chilly icicles. Into the Fire was created by challenging myself to re-create the opposite of Less than Zero, while maintaining the same brush strokes and repetitive pattern.
