Why should I buy your art?

Simple - you should buy it because it moves you! Art is to be enjoyed so buy what you enjoy, what inspires you, what “speaks” to you. Having different price points and styles, I want to give collectors from all over the world the opportunity to own it.  Another consideration to buy my painting is that it is increasing in value each year as more collectors buy my work.

Are all your paintings original art?

Yes - I only sell original art on my website at this time. Instead of a print, think about buying one of my smaller pieces. I recommend collecting originals, as the value of most original art increases over time, it’s a much better investment!

Do you have a Certificate of Authenticity?

Accepted Answer

YES - ALL of my paintings come with an official Certificate of Authenticity which is signed by me, with a picture of the painting along with the year of creation, size, and mediums used. This protects your investment in my work.

Do you except credit cards?

Accepted Answer

YES – I use Paypal for payment in my shop. They accept all credit and debit cards for payment securely so you can buy with full confidence. They are the industry standard in e-commerce and totally secure. You only enter payment info once you checkout and are taken to their secure site for immediate payment.
 
Inside USA: If you do not have Paypal, I also accept wire transfer, certified check and money order.
 
Outside USA: the preferred method of payment is international wire transfer. We also accept certified check and money order.

Privacy - Is my information safe?

YES – Paypal, which is use for purchases in my store is completely secure and used world wide millions of times a day for purchases. They handle your financial info so I do not have access to it. So yes, all your information is safe, secure, and always totally private. Once you checkout, you are taken to their secure site for immediate payment. Never a problem.

I dont live in the USA - Can I still buy your art?

YES – I sell to collector’s outside of the USA. I use DHL, Fed-Ex, and USPS to ship your artwork right to your door anywhere in the world!

I purchased a painting on your web site. What happens next?

Question 9

How will my painting be packaged?

Accepted Answer

Paintings with sides that are less than 48”(?) in length will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a commercial cardboard box.
 
Paintings with at least one side 48”(?) or larger are normally removed from their stretcher bars and rolled up in a tube. You will need to have the canvas re-stretched when you receive it. If you would like your painting to be shipped directly to a framer, please contact me to make the arrangements.
 
If you prefer to have a large painting shipped already on stretcher bars, we will need to ship it in a wood crate, which will increase the shipping costs significantly.

Question 10

How long will it take for my painting to be delivered?

Your painting will be packaged within 5 working days of payment. It is then delivered to the courier company where the time that it takes for the delivery varies, depending on the area to which the package is traveling. Our shipping costs are based on the least expensive form of shipping (by courier), usually ground transportation. If you would like to arrange and pay for a more expedited shipping option, please contact me.

How much is shipping, and who pays for it?"

The cost of shipping is included in the "handling" area of your order form, and therefore included in your final bill. There is also an international shipping fee for paintings being shipped outside of USA. We determine the cost of shipping based on the least expensive option, usually ground transport. If you would like to arrange and pay for a more expedited shipping option, please contact me.

Question 12

How will I know when to expect my artwork?

When we make shipping arrangements with the courier, we arrange for you to receive emails informing you of your package's travel status. Upon delivery to the courier, we contact you to let you know that the process has started and to provide you with the tracking number. A signature is required upon receipt of your package, so please make sure someone is there upon delivery. If you are unable to have someone present at the time of delivery, please contact the courier to make alternate arrangements.

Can I return the painting?

Yes - I want you to be happy! Paintings can be exchanged for a credit on lauraparkerartist.com for the full amount, minus any shipping costs, so long as certain conditions are met:
 
-The collector has seven (7) days from reception to advise us in writing that they would like to return the artwork.
 
-The artwork must be returned in its original packaging and in the same condition as when it was shipped. It is important, therefore, to take care when both unpacking and repacking your artwork.
